ILLENIUM is one of the biggest names in EDM, with four albums, over 8 billion global streams, a GRAMMY nomination, a catalog including platinum-certified tracks and experience headlining iconic stages including Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC, Ultra, and Madison Square Garden. On December 15, 2025 he dropped a new track titled “War,” featuring rising alternative singer-songwriter Lø Spirit.

Lø Spirit is the musical name of producer Joshua Landry. His background, influences and previous tour experience with artists like the Struts are largely in the rock realm. His gritty and resonant vocals offer a new kind of sound when paired with ILLENIUM’s highly electronic production talents.

“War” contains intense drops and raw lyricism. The song encapsulates the fight of a battle within one’s self or a struggle within a relationship. Lø Spirit sings, “Maybe this is war/The blood in your eyes, feels like a fire frozen over/Flawed by design, you burn me alive, and I just get colder/All the knives you left in me/All the times you watched me bleed/If pain is worth fighting for.”

The first drop in the song comes as the intensity continues to build. “Gasping for air, but there’s nothing left/I’m still holding my breath/There’s one way out tonight,”  Lø Spirit sings.

ILLENIUM initially debuted “War” to fans over Thanksgiving weekend at Apocalypse Festival. The track comes on the heels of ILLENIUM’s recent radio moment, as his single “Forever”achieved #1 on both Mediabase Dance and the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay charts.

“It brings a darker, heavier energy that contrasts my other singles and adds a new dimension to the story of Odyssey,” ILLENIUM said about the track. Fans are also anticipating the release of his album “ODYSSEY” on February 6, 2026

This album will be followed by his nine-night run of ODYSSEY shows at Sphere March 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 & 14 and April 2, 3 & 4. These shows will be the only live shows of “ODYSSEY.” As he dropped “War,” ILLENIUM also finished releasing a slate of special guests for the shows, including Alok, Dab The Sky, Wooli, Levity, Audien, Ray Volpe, SLANDER, DJ Diesel and Tape B. The Sphere has become a new frontier for live experiences, as the venue boasts a  16K wraparound LED screen, advanced spatial audio, and 4D effects to immerse attendees. The intensity of ILLENIUM’s music will create a powerful experience for fans at these shows.
